Education

As an educator, I presented daily “keeper talks” focused on interpretation of behavior, natural history, and conservation to museum visitors of diverse ages and backgrounds. These keeper talks featured river otters, porcupines, raccoons, bobcats, red-tailed hawks, ravens, turkey vultures, and snowy owls. 

Animal Care

As an animal care specialist, I provided daily care for native Ohio mammals, reptiles, and raptors. This care included diet preparation and feeding as well as enrichment design and delivery. I was also responsible for the maintenance of outdoor and indoor enclosures and the kenneling training regimen for a female red fox.
